gestalt therapy

I don’t believe in perfection.
I believe in presence.

Perfection is often a way of protecting ourselves. Presence can feel messy. Uncertain. Vulnerable. But it is real. In our work together, you don’t learn how to be the perfect version of yourself. You don’t have to have it figured out. What matters is that you show up as you are.

I work with Hungarian and international clients in Budapest, including those building a life away from where they first called home — creatives, freelancers, remote workers or anyone navigating change.

Ami kapcsolatban sérül, az kapcsolatban gyógyulhat.

My approach

My work is rooted in Gestalt therapy, which focuses on what is happening now: in your experience, in your body, in your relationships.

It assumes that change does not come from forcing yourself to be different, but from becoming more aware of what is already here.

It is not about analyzing you or fixing you. It is about meeting you where you are.

Living in a different country can quietly reshape you. It can feel exciting and freeing. It can also feel lonely, disorienting or unstable. Sometimes both at once.

You may be building a life that once felt like a dream — and still find yourself asking questions you didn’t expect.

Where do I belong? Who am I becoming here? Is this direction truly mine?

You may already understand a lot about yourself. You know your patterns. You’ve done the thinking. You’ve reflected before. And yet something may still feel unsettled.

Sometimes what’s missing is not insight, but space. Space to slow down. To notice what you actually feel. To hear yourself think out loud in the presence of someone who is really listening.

About me

“You’re too sensitive.” I heard this many times. It took years to realize that my sensitivity is not a weakness, but a compass. It helps me notice subtleties: shifts in tone, unspoken tension, what feels unfinished in a story. Today, it is one of the foundations of how I practice.

Together with curiosity, it brings me closer to what feels meaningful in each person’s story. Whether in creative work, consulting or therapy, it helps me attune to the people who trust me with their stories.

I am especially drawn to the way our experiences live in the body: how change shows up physically, emotionally, relationally. And how we slowly shape our lives through everyday choices. This is the work I do with the people who come to me.

Tanulmányaim

My path into the helping profession was not linear. I originally studied communication and marketing, and later found my way to psychology and Gestalt therapy, where I feel most at home today.

The most important learning, however, did not come from books. It came from lived experience, from relationships, and from my own personal journey. These experiences shaped me deeply.

As a helping professional, I work with my personality, with my capacity to be authentically present with you. This is why my own self-development and wellbeing are central to my life. Over the past decade, I have spent several hundred hours in individual and group experiential work, and I currently practice with professional supervision in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the Hungarian Gestalt Association.

How I work

In our sessions, we talk — but we also pause and try different things. I might ask what you notice in your body when something feels important. Or invite you to stay with an emotion a little longer instead of rushing past it.

Nothing dramatic. Nothing forced. Just space to notice.

I believe that when you truly pay attention to something, it begins to move.

What we can explore

  • Navigating life abroad
  • Feeling between cultures or “in between” versions of yourself
  • Relationship patterns
  • Boundaries — in love, friendships or work
  • Creative burnout or uncertainty
  • Self-worth beyond productivity
  • Questions around identity, direction or belonging
  • Emotional overwhelm or inner pressure

This is not about diagnosis or intensive clinical work. It is a reflective, supportive space for you to make sense of where you are — and where you might want to move next.

Sessions take place at Kiskör Studio — a small, quiet space in Budapest that I put together slowly and with care. Warm, simple, unhurried. The kind of place where it is easy to slow down. If you are based elsewhere or only passing through, we can work online just as well. The work travels.
